A Note From RMS

Disaster preparedness is something I’ve written about before. Mostly in the light of being as ready as possible for natural disasters, inclement weather and the like. But as you all know, here in Washington State, and in many more states throughout the country, we’re all facing a different kind of disaster. I’ve been hesitant to write anything about it honestly,with new articles and news reports on COVID-19 posting every other minute it seems.

But as I talk with so many customers wondering how we’re doing here at RMS, and what our plans are, I thought I’d take a moment to share.

Right now, we are all healthy and business is as usual in our main office and in our remote locations across the country. We all hope to stay that way but we’re also ready with contingency plans so that we can all continue to work and provide service to our customers and business partners. Our emergency preparedness plans are tested regularly, and the importance of this testing has been highlighted as we monitor the developing situation in Seattle.

We know that regardless of what’s happening, pharmacies will continue to operate, and that the support of vendor partners is extremely important. As our President & CEO shared in a letter to customers last week, RMS will remain operational with no impact to support or services.

We appreciate all of the well wishes we’ve received over the last week as the situation here in Washington has developed. All of our RMS friends and family are in our thoughts and we’ll continue to our best to meet all of your needs.
