Ecommerce for Your Retail Pharmacy

RMS and Ecomdash

In 2018, more than 14% of retail sales in the United States were completed via Ecommerce. With 15% growth from the previous year and more growth expected, Ecommerce has become the big bad wolf of retail competition.

The bottom line, if you’re a retail pharmacy with a large and diverse front end, online competition might be taking a bite out of your profits. So how can you operate “three little pigs” style and build a house strong enough to weather all of the huffing and puffing that so many retailers are finding difficult to withstand?

The easiest answer lies in the old saying, “If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em”. Which is exactly what the newest integration from RMS aims to help retail pharmacies do.

RMS is incredibly pleased to announce the release of a brand new integration with Ecommerce platform, Ecomdash.

Ecomdash is a single platform that allows users to manage inventory when selling across multiple Ecommerce channels. Making it easier to sell your products via sites like Amazon, Ebay, Shopify, and more.

This is a powerful tool all by itself, but with RMS and Ecomdash together, you get so much more. Here’s how it works:

-Items that you sell via Ecommerce platforms are flagged for online sale in your RMS system.

-These items are automatically sent to Ecomdash with the price and on-hand quantity

-Any updates to pricing and availability are automatically communicated from RMS to Ecomdash

-Online sales are processed and fulfilled through Ecomdash.

-Completed orders are automatically sent to RMS, adding the online sale to your daily reports and reducing your on-hand quantity.

Online retail isn’t limited to box stores and Ecommerce giants. Every retailer can find a way to compete. And for RMS customers, it just got easier. Ready to learn more? We’re ready to help!
