Improve Patient Outcomes and Increase Pharmacy Profitability at the Same Time

OrthoMolecularLogo-540-359.pngAt RMS, we strive to constantly find ways to improve our client’s bottom-line.  As a matter of fact, it’s part of our mission statement.  To this end, I’m really excited to tell you about a new product that is launching this week, an interface actually, to a new software solution. 

A few months ago, Ortho Molecular Products came to us to ask us if we would interface to their Digital Replete solution.  As we investigated whether this idea had merit, we called several customers and did our due diligence.  As like any software company, development time and effort has its costs. 

As we explored this product’s potential, we quickly realized there was nothing else quite like it on the market, and to have the opportunity to be the first point-of-sale company to integrate to it, was huge.  We constantly hear from our pharmacy customers that their business is getting tougher, due to many factors, such as:

  • Growing competition
  • Rising operating costs
  • Shrinking margins, and
  • Lower profits

This interface to the Digital Replete software, I believe, will address several of these concerns.  After all, as they say, profits cures all wounds (or something like that).

In initial testing with existing RMS customers, we’ve seem dramatic increases in store profitability.  After just 2 months of using the RMS interface with the Digital Replete solution, one store is seeing almost a $1,000 a week in gross profits!  Incredible!  Imagine, getting a new pharmacy POS system from RMS, fully integrated with Ortho Molecular Products’ Digital Replete solution, and having that POS paid off in possibly less than 2 months!  We’re blown away to say the least.
