Luckily, this isn’t that kind of blog post.

But the question remains, what do a motivational speaker, a mountaineer and a sports host have to do with pharmacy? Absolutely nothing, right?

We think there might just be some common ground, and some valuable lessons to be learned about grit, success, motivation and more.

On October 14^th, 2021 RMS is bringing together some amazing speakers to inspire you for the next chapter in your pharmacy business. It’s all part of our continued efforts to help pharmacies grow profits and find a competitive edge through our virtual educational series, CLIMB.  (If this is the first time you’re hearing about CLIMB, it stands for Care, Lead, Innovate, Motivate and Balance. Here’s what you need to know about our 1^st Annual CLIMBiversary special.

Our cast of characters may be out of the ordinary, but that’s exactly what makes this CLIMB so extraordinary.  

Is this name ringing a bell? You may have heard of Will Bowen and the Complaint Free Movement he founded. In October, Will brings his valuable message to pharmacy teams. Will Bowen will talk about why complaints happen, how to deal with them, and how pharmacies can improve efficiency, communication and profits by approaching business and life in a complaint free environment. Will’s complaint free practice has been shared by Oprah, Dr. Oz, The Today Show, and many more. This is a fun, motivational session with Q&A.

Perhaps another familiar name to sports fans across the country. Colin Cowherd is the host of The Herd with Colin Cowherd and the author of two bestselling books. Think a pharmacy can’t have anything in common with an independent pharmacy? Colin’s methods for finding success in a competitive industry and unique approach to leadership might just change your mind. And we might find a couple of minutes to ask him about his NFL predictions for the season.

Who better to teach us how to CLIMB than someone who’s climbed, and I mean really climbed, for real? Dr. Emily Johnston is a practicing physician and mountaineer. She’s summited the tallest peaks on almost every continent, including Mt. Everest where she’s also a certified guide. Her inspiring story and perseverance in two incredibly difficult careers can teach us all a thing or two about grit, overcoming obstacles, and finding balance in our lives.
